Loyalty Program Fraud Prevention Policy

At Pai-Shau, we believe in rewarding our loyal customers with benefits that enhance their experience but not at the expense of fairness. To maintain the integrity of our loyalty program, all participants must agree to the Fraud Prevention Policy and abide by the terms outlined below, which are designed to detect, deter, and address abuse of the program.

1. Definition of Fraudulent Activity

Fraudulent activity is any intentional misuse of the loyalty program to gain an unfair advantage. Examples of fraud include, but are not limited to:

  • Order Manipulation (see Section 2 below)
  • Multiple Account Abuse – Creating or operating more than one account per individual or household to earn additional rewards.
  • Self-Referrals or Fake Referrals – Referring oneself or fictitious users to gain referral benefits.
  • Automated or Scripted Behavior – Using bots, scripts, or browser automation tools to earn points or manipulate promotions.
  • Falsified Transactions – Making fake or unverifiable purchases to accumulate points.
  • Commercial Exploitation – Purchasing with the intent to resell while accumulating personal-use rewards.

2. Order Manipulation

Order manipulation refers to any purchasing behavior intended to exploit how points or rewards are earned and redeemed. This includes:

  • Back-to-Back Order Abuse – Placing multiple orders in quick succession to bypass single-use reward limits or use multiple rewards (e.g., discount codes or points redemptions) that are intended to be limited to one per transaction.
  • Order Splitting – Dividing what would reasonably be one purchase into multiple orders to increase the total number of points or redemptions.
  • Refund Loopholes – Earning points or receiving rewards from purchases that are later canceled or returned, with the intent of keeping the benefits despite a reversed transaction.
  • Stacking Rewards – Using multiple accounts or circumventing reward restrictions to combine benefits that were not intended to be used together.

Pai-Shau reserves the right to monitor and void any such orders and take corrective action, including the deduction of points, cancellation of orders, and restriction of account privileges.

3. Monitoring and Review

Pai-Shau continuously monitors program activity through both automated and manual processes. Patterns that may trigger review include:

  • Excessive order frequency within short time frames
  • Inconsistent order and return behavior
  • IP address or device anomalies
  • Referral and promo code usage patterns

If an account is flagged, Pai-Shau may temporarily pause its activity during investigation.

4. Consequences of Fraud

If an account is found to have engaged in fraudulent behavior, Pai-Shau may, at its sole discretion:

  • Revoke or adjust any loyalty points or rewards
  • Cancel associated orders
  • Suspend or permanently deactivate the account
  • Deny future participation in the loyalty program
  • Take legal action if fraud is severe or criminal in nature

5. Right to Refuse Service

Pai-Shau reserves the right to refuse loyalty program participation or service to any user suspected of fraud or repeated program violations, with or without notice.

6. Policy Updates

This Fraud Prevention Policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of the loyalty program constitutes acceptance of the latest version. Users are encouraged to review this policy regularly.
